A night of fabulous new classical music by LGBTIQ composers.

Homophonic! is back for it’s 8th fabulous year. Come join us at La Mama Courthouse for an evening of new classical music by queer composers. Celebrating Sapphic symphonists, homosexual harmonies, and the long and proud tradition of composers being as gay as the day is long.

Classical music has a rich heritage of LGBTQ+ composers and performers, and Homophonic! is celebrating their legacy in style by performing outlandishly fabulous new music! Featuring: Life Story by Thomas Adès, with Judith Dodsworth, Soprano. Neon by Tansy Davies, and I Cannot Attain Unto It by Nico Muhly alongside new works by Australian composers Peter Wilson, Naima Fine, and Louisa Trewartha; in an exciting and diverse program that brings the disco ball to the concert hall!
