Enyato Duo

Enyato Duo is a Melbourne chamber ensemble featuring Luke Carbon (woodwinds) and Thea Rossen (percussion). The duo formed to explore the existing body of woodwind/percussion repertoire, and to expand it through collaboration with emerging and established Australian composers. Their repertoire features works for bass clarinet, alto flute, saxophone, marimba, vibraphone, and untuned percussion by composers including Ross Edwards, Andrew Schultz, David Lang, Andrew Ford, and Toru Takemitsu.

Since forming in 2017, Enyato Duo has commissioned new works by composers Paul Dean, Tim Hansen and Samantha Wolf and premiered a number of them at the Bang on a Can Summer Festival in 2018. Both graduates of the Australian National Academy of Music, Thea and Luke have each worked with Orchestra Victoria, the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, ArtPlay, and ELISION.
